Before the year ends…
All things considered, we’re good.
It’s almost December 31st.
That quiet day where nothing new really starts, but everything feels like it’s about to.
Before we jump into resolutions, plans and the pressure to “start fresh” I wanted to pause here.
Because not everyone is ending the year with a promotion, a raise or a headline moment.
And honestly? That’s far more common than LinkedIn would have you believe.
This year still counts, even if it didn’t turn out the way you imagined.
It counts if you stayed in a job you’ve outgrown because it felt like the practical choice. If the raise didn’t happen. If you’ve been quietly thinking about what comes next. If you kept showing up, no matter what.
You’re still here. You kept moving. And yes, that counts.

I started writing these letters because I kept having the same conversations with women.
About work. Money. Confidence. And that quiet question of who you’re even allowed to ask.
Different paths. Same questions.
And I realized how rarely we say these things out loud. So I wanted a place where those questions could exist without judgment.
Where you don’t have to have all the answers to be welcome.

I didn’t want to end the year with advice. Just this.
Sometimes, all it takes is realizing you’re not the only one figuring things out as you go.
Your career doesn’t have to be an isolated path. You don’t have to be afraid to ask for clarity, a raise or more from your work. If you’re still navigating, you’re not behind.
Thank you for being here. For reading. For reflecting. For showing up.
I’ll see you in the new year. ✨ And remember, you’re doing better than you think.
